Any suggestions for a good DIY case lube? Does lanolin work?

10:1 Ratio - use 99% alcohol to Lanolin.

The lanolin lube is the one I typically see/hear about most often. I am still more than happy with the One Shot water-based spray lube, so I haven't experimented much.
Some options I've seen/heard about before:
- Synthetic motor oil - Pam cooking spray - Hornady liquid case lube (P#050009) and 99% isopropyl alcohol

Is the lanolin mix simply with 100% pure lanolin oil?
Figuring I should buy some to have on hand.

I mix 1 Tbs (15ml) lanolin in one 12oz bottle of HEET. Shake it up good and put it into a little pump spray bottle.

You can get pure lanolin at the pharmacy. Ask the clerk or pharmacist for the lanolin women use for their nipples when nursing, and use as high a percentage of alcohol as you can find.
BTW the lanolin works great for winter chapped hands
