Since I’ve been dicking around with numerous fixes for my loaded cases getting stuck and binding my press instead of just dropping into the catch bin I have not got it running 100%. Anyone know where I can find an olde time Hornady Wire Eject piece? Seems the’ve been discontinued. I’ve got a spare base plate that I would file off that not so EZ Eject nub off of and give the wire a try. I’d buy one from you if you’ve made the conversion without issue. Any suggestions? Thanks guys.

Are you sure your shellplate bolt is properly torqued? I've had a few quibbles with my LNL but the loaded case ejection is not one of them...it's been flawless over thousands and thousands of rounds. When that shellplate gets loose everything goes to hell, though. What caliber(s) are you having issues with?

Hi 92. Yup. Complete tear down, clean, regrease zerks, drive hub, shell plate underside, primer feed system clean, etc. It probably locks the press up 2-3 times out of 10. I’ve got a big match coming up in May that I shoot a .45 at, so my last 1.5k of reloads have all been .45ACP. I do recall it being an issue with all other pistol calibers I reload. Hornady sent me a base plate, for lack of the proper term, a while back. Neither plate works perfectly. I will say that case retention spring is a bit jacked but I can’t see that being the cause. I’ve yet to reload for rifle.

Huh. I only use mine for 9mm, but I can't imagine it would make that much difference to the point where you're having issues 3/10. Sounds like something is out of spec. Hornady couldn't come up with anything other than a new baseplate?

You loaded 1500rd of .45 with it doing that? If so you're a lot more patient than me!

I know, sometimes I just want to snap the handle and just run with it. Been there, done that, don’t care to wait for parts again…

I have the wire version and it's been binding also. Frustrating!
