Looking at some brass that has a bit of ejector swipe, I think brass would work better without lettering. A solid face on the head would flow less into the extractor than one with deep lettering. It is a simple pressure vs surface area situation. I have some RWS 223 brass that is marked very shallow, looking like it is etched or laser engraved.

This is probably less of an issue if you don't plan to reload the brass, but lots of brass is sold unloaded and buyers intend several loadings.
