What are you using?

I've been eyeballing the Hornady Auto Charge Pro; Midway has them on sale for $362. They seem to get very good reviews. I'll mostly be using it for single stage loading of .308Win and .30-06, though I may expand later to a Creedmore or something else.

I'm NOT going to drop $1500 on a V4 Auto Trickler and A&D FX123 Kit. I'm not a benchrest shooter, so it seems like complete overkill. If I win the lottery, I'll buy that.

I do switch around a lot, so powder charges vary with the loading.

If doing just a few, I measure each charge on an electronic scale. With higher numbers I set up my RCBS powder measure to the charge weight. With handgun I have the ‘little dandy’ with an infinitely adjustable rotor.

Besides that I haven’t felt the need to go further. I do check every so often so that my charges drop correctly.

I do realize there are various ways to go about dropping powder charges.

I use the Hornady Auto Charge Pro when i reload for rifle. I find the machine to be VERY accurate with the weight and really doesn’t slow me down. Now when i load for pistol i am more than happy to use what my dillon 550 throws.

All of the bulk reloading is on my Dillon 650- pistol rounds and typical AR/.223 loads. This dispenser will be for the single stage loading.

You are correct the Autotrickler kit is pricey albeit it wasn't nearly that expensive a couple years ago. But it is a shear joy to use and the accuracy of the scale is unparalleled.
My RCBS Chargemaster 1500 gets lonely now and zero work.

I have a Dillon for my higher volume stuff (.45ACP mostly anymore) but I do all my rifle match ammo (.223 and 6.5CM) on a single stage press. For that I picked up a RCBS Chargemaster about 4 years ago. So far it's working great, fast enough and accurate enough. I have to be careful cleaning it though, or it'll spill powder all over the place. I don't recall what I paid for it.

I have been using an RCBS Chargemaster for years. Pretty much plus or minus a tenth. I think about as good as you can get for the cost.

Same here - I love mine. Bought a second one last year during Black Friday sale and it is still sealed in its factory box as a backup if my primary unit quits working.
