I am looking for a light load for my 454 Casull. I shoot 240 - 300 grain copper clad bullets, 240 xtp mag at 2105 fps using max H 110 loads. H 110, my range sessions are short, for my arms hurt. AA 1680 looks like a soft load. Is it accurate? AA #9 is a little hotter, I have not tried # 9 let. Can AA # 9 and 1680 be used with Hi Tec cast bullets? Max speed 1400 fps with no leading? The pistol that am using is a Freedom Arms 6" barrel.

I use it for .300aac. The reason I like it is because its not "spikey" and delivers very predictable results. -------------------------------------- "There are things we know. There are things we dont know. Then there are the things we dont know that we dont know."

I use 1680 for 300 blackout hi tek cast bullets. Use 110 also, no issues either one. Lick the lollipop of mediocrity once and you suck forever.

I got a box of 445sm I loaded with 180gr and a full case of 1680. My fire and brimstone load for when the homies at the indoor range go crazy with the hi points, and the hillbillies go nuts with their mossbergs. Lotsa noise & flash. It's a bit on the slow side. I actually prefer H4227 for my std. 445 loads or 2400 for medium load 44's.

Like others have said I use it for 300blk, works so well I have not even looked for anything else. David W. Rather fail with honor than succeed by fraud. -Sophocles
