I loaded some more 7.5 Swiss rounds for the K31 rifle. The Son & I are heading North this weekend, our camp is ideal for shooting.
I hope to spend much of the time grouse hunting. The rest will be shooting various arms.

Loaded 150 rounds of 38-40 with 180gr LRNFB bullets and Trail Boss powder. I have some old Colt SAA in 38-40 that I love to shoot, but don't want to blow a cylinder or top strap.

Loaded up my 1st 10ea 22TCM's Can't find any factory 40gr so I used Sierra Varminter Bullets 22 Hornet 224 Dia.
Not bad shooters but they tumbled - I'm going to up my charge a tenth -
What a fun round to shoot.

Can you use the 224 33 grain carb tip bullets? I bought a K of them to use in the 5 7 and they were too short during the last bullet shortage. I am in this forum with my mail address. I would contact you privately but you are not. Thanks

I adjusted the dies on my "new" Star progressive reloading press and churned out 120 .45 ACP target loads.
Bullet: Zero 200 grain LSWC Cases: Mixed Powder: Bullseye Charge: 3.3gr Primer: CCI Large Handgun Crimp: Light roll (die appears to taper the case, then a slight roll).
Though light, they are very accurate and cycle my Colt Gold Cup NM just fine.
120 commenced after test firing 10rnds.
The press came with 4 charge bars, 3.3, 3.5, 3.7 and an adjustable bar.
The press is a champ and I am now able to take full advantage of my older, lightened slide Colt GCNM.
I did a detailed cleaning and lube on my old Dillon 450...then installed and adjusted my Christmas gift of an RCBS Lock-out die (it works like a champ...I know, I know, but I seat AND crimp on stage 4, but it works for me in my CAS loads)...and cranked out 700 rounds of .45 Colt. I'll probably do another 5-600 tomorrow...rinse and repeat till I run out of brass
Edit...I just placed an order from Summer's Enterprises for 2000 Hi-Tek 200 grain .45 RNFP bullets...the 130 grain .358 Hi-Tec bullets from him loaded and shot fantastic...

Been working on practice 9mm for myself and my daughter. Trying to get enough loaded. Looking to get 10,000 rounds loaded. About half way there now. The 650 is getting a little bit of a work out.

Finished the last 100 rounds of 300 blk I’ve been putting off. The priming system on my 550 irritated me back in the fall due to sticking and making primers fly when it would release. Needless to say there’s probably a dozen or so primers somewhere in my reloading room that I’ll never find. It’s not sticking as bad but still not smooth after doing some work to it. Out of the hundred rounds today it stuck around 15 times. I’m at the point now of ordering a new priming system as it’s starting to drive me nuts.
Started the swap to 9mm but need to get the priming straight before I start on them.

I used to have this problem on my 550 as well until I bought one of these.

Today, I added a case kicker and a case feed to my Star universal (.45ACP).
Gearing up for mid winter production. I hesitate to add an indexer to the unit due to excessive wear on the base.
As familiar as I am of the unit, I was able to load 120rnds in approx. 45min.
With cartridge adding and removal automated, it should focus my attention on the powder drop and placement of bullet in case prior to seating.
...primers (all brands in stock...no Federal) $28 per K 
...I can live with this.
