vaalpensWhat did you do today in reloading-land?
This week was a 357sig case prep week for 1k of brass. The case prep status so far:
-Decapped 1k cases
-Washed 1k cases
-Debulged 600 cases (probably did not need it but it is part of my process)
-Resized body for 600 cases (40S&W die)
-Resized neck for 600 cases (357sig die)
-Tumbled and sorted 600 cases
I still need to debulge, size and tumble the remaining 400 cases.

nilsjohanI called my father over and together we topped off an ammo can of .45 ACP. 884 rounds on a single stage is a lot of work!

exx1976Turned another 40 rounds of 6.5x47 into smoke and quiet.
Helped a buddy do load development for his 260. Settled on 42.9gr h4350 under a 140 smk @ 2880. Speedy.

Haha, indeed! Thanks, it was actually kind of nice chatting for a few hours as we went at it. I'd already Done all the prep work and all that was left was filling each case with powder and seating the bullets, but still, lots of work, but as you all know, totally worth it!

Blue68f100That makes one heavy can too. I no longer use the 50 cal boxes for storing pistol ammo. Just weights too much for my bad back.
My tennis elbow would have given out long ago if all I had was a SS press. This is where the AP Shine....

My slightly different approach to bringing ammo to a match
Loaded these this AM for a local steel match this weekend. 6.5x47/130VLD's.
Shoot well!

jelrod1I like the looks of that. I may do the bullet binder thing at some point. If they didn't want an arm and leg for them I probably already would have. Is that the Tab pouch?

Mars_AttacksA bunch of .38's for the next shoot.

https://store.kifaru.net/chamber-pockets-p21.aspxIf your pack has Molle/Pals webbing, the three bar sliders/tabs will lock on to it very securely.
Have a couple of the #10 LNL's as well. Well made, smart design for easy off/on.

I looked into doing bullet binders. All the ones I found were in the $50-60 range. Each.
When you need 200 rounds for a match, that's a lot of binders, and money that could be better spent elsewhere. Like on bullets. LOL

Ordered up some more Lapua brass and Berger 185'smto load up next week. Hoping ho have about a hundred of each on hand for the next several weeks of shooting.

Good luck on picking it up and raising it above you head to put it on a storage shelf that is strong enough to handle the weight.
All my ammo is now sitting on the floor in ammo cans and stacked by caliber and date so their is no moving the cans around and searching for caliber.

agonyToday I spilled a half pound of Titegroup all over my reloading bench and floor. PITA.
