98XJRCWhat did you do today in reloading-land?
Finally had a chance to set up my Forster 300 blackout dies and loaded up 250 of 110 gr VMAX. It's been a long time coming.

rduckworFinally bit the bullet (no pun intended) and loaded the fifty rounds I will need for the rifle match later in the month.
Damn, I hate picking our kernels of Varget to zero out a charge weight.
Noticed that some of the primer pockets are getting a bit loose. Will have to cull those next sizing round.

billnchristyLoaded some nasty 158gr JSP 357 magnums for hiking use.
Will try them at the range this weekend to make sure they are kosher. It's a near max load of H110, should be a screamer.

WildSigSized and prepared for stainless tumbling the 1,000 pieces of 9mm brass that will be used for my match ammo at Production Nationals in August.
It had already been tumbled before and just didn't look pretty enough.
April 03, 2015, 05:42 PM
mossyoak1picked up 300 223 shells at the range along with 45 308, 9mm, 40. It's great to get free brass.
Then sorted and tumbled them and loaded 150 223 shells.

C-DubsStopped at a LGS looking for pistol powders...they had some some Green Dot, Clay Dot, Longshot and H110.
So I grabbed a pound of H110 (since it was $30 per pound).
Grabbed some primers, and picked up some more of the ACME Hi-Tek coated 158 SWC bullets to load up some more 38s this weekend.
With the H110, I'll make up some .357mags too.

SlimManThis morning, 200 rds of 45 acp with LNL-AP. 200 gr Bayou Bullets (RN and SWC) over a moderate load of 231. Very accurate out of every 45 I own.

If you care to share your secret, where did you find the H110? I would like to pick a pound up for playing with the .357 too.

billnchristyPrimed 200 38 specials for Christy's cowboy loads, getting around 200 9mm ready too for plinking.
April 07, 2015, 05:03 PM
entropyDeprimed and sized about 1500 9mm on the turret press. Yuck. Also hand primed the same number. Double yuck.
Still havent decided on a new press yet.

exx1976HAND PRIMED 1500 9mm?!?! Holy crap, man!
You need to get a Dillon. Pronto!
Today in reloadingland I ordered another Lee reloader press and a Redding instant indicator die.
Also set up the priming jaws on my coax and primed two pieces of 6.5x47.

Webley GreenLoaded up ,45 ACP 100 rounds, got another 100 sized and primed. 100 or so is my limit with my hand primer. I'm a batch reloader with my old Green Press.

They had them at Sheels in Grand Forks. Should have picked one up right then and there. It was already a pretty expensive weekend at that point though.
The deprime was actually worse.

rduckworRan off 200 quick 9MM for the club USPSA match this weekend. Hope we don't get rained out!
Used some processed 9MM brass I bought as I am too damn lazy to pick up brass most days.
Had to buy their cleaned and resized brass as they were out of the raw pick-up.
Worked fine, only one split case and one 380 in the batch. Even the NATO cases seated primers with minimal effort.
Weird looking at shiny cases though.

They have them at Scheels in Appleton, too. You drive right by it on 41 on your way up north. It's in the mall. Get off at Wisconsin Ave, and the mall is on the West side of the highway. You've seen it driving by dozens of times, I'm sure.
Don't worry, I'll give you a free demo of the 550 & 650 when you come up for that shoot. Then you'll go buy one in a hurry.
