600 more 38s today. I wanted to do 600 more tomorrow to wrap up the rest of my free 38 cases, but I think I'll only be able to do 300 at most tomorrow, quickly running out of MG 125gr bullets.

Will have to buy a box soon

I'm a deplorable.

Light day. 100 45 ACp and 100 9MM. Hardly worth the effort, but I needed to top off some supplies and use up the last. Of the WST (sob). Time to switch to the CFE Pistol.

Too soggy to drive out in the pasture to set up steel. Good news is most of the snow is gone, except for some shady spots.

Figured blasting my 175gr SMK reloads at 150 yards was a waste of time and money. Confirmed zero on an AR I had removed/replaced Troy Rail on, did some more drills with my new BHP adoption, and watched it rain. Found some fairly fresh bear tracks...I think. Yogi is awake I believe.

Stopping at a few stores on the way home tomorrow. Back in a few weeks. Hopefully dry enough then to shoot.

Bummer.

Make sure you hit MidWest Shooters on 41 there. They had powder when I was there early last week.

Going out to load up some 5.56 to finalize the optimum load for my little Mossberg MVP bolt with the 52 Gr Nosler CC bullets.

Hopefully chrono them tomorrow and develop the final dope for this load.

Picked up 4 pounds of WSF from my super-secret-squirrel reloading supply shop in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere.

They had two more 4# jugs of WST.

Sorry RMD, that's the same place that wouldn't ship last time...

Made up a test batch of .45 ACP 230 Grain RN Frontier bullets with the objective of altering the ejection angle to 3:30 with my P220 Carry.

I picked up 8# jug of H335. I was surprised by how much rifle powder they had.

Damn. Didnt stop there. Had to choose between there and Midwest along with Cabelas.

Guess I chose the wrong place.

Midwest is kinda snooty. Going to stop at the other place now instead.

This is from a place in Medford, WI. It's about 4 hours from Midwest, not to other secret squirrel place I told you about. Sorry.

Picked up new Tumbler's Tumbler Model B and some SS Pins from Bullseye reloading.

Ran some brass. OMG. I have been missing out on some clean brass.

I dont mind few extra steps. I enjoy reloading just as much as I enjoy shooting.

Thread drift and a funny WI story:

My last chairman in Nebraska was from WI. We were in S.C. one night late to operate and an S.C state trooper picked us up at the airport to take us to the hospital.

The boss sat in the front seat beside the trooper and noticed the 870 fixed to the dash in the front. (Yeah, I was in the cage in the back.)

In his best whiny nasal WI accent he asked, "What's that for?" The Trooper in his flat S.C. accent answered, "Spooks." The boss said, "Huh?". The Trooper said, "Spooks, when they hear the noise of me racking the action, they settled right down."

I later explained the meaning of the term to him. He is a great guy and retired to Madison when he had had enough of medicine.

At $400, I might have to be thinking about it too.. That's not too bad of a deal, and if it's THAT much better, well, maybe..... Smile
