Working my way through a pile of brass. Getting sorted and SS tumbled in preparation for setting up with a Dillon 650.

Loaded some more .308 this weekend using the new Gempro 250 that scale that was recommended on here. Man what a difference!

I had previously been using a Franklin Arsenal scale and it did not seem to be working right last time. The numbers would not move as I was trickling in powder, and then it would suddenly jump and I was over my intended target. Even if I would remove the weight and set it back down it wouldn't show a change in weight until it was too much. Same problem when removing powder in small increments. That batch of reloads was also one of the worst I have loaded in terms of accuracy and the primers did not look consistent so I knew it was time to make a change.

The Gempro worked great. It acted exactly how you would expect it to when trickling in powder to reach a target and it was always repeatable. Can't wait to try my latest batches as I suspect I will see a real improvement over my last batch thanks to a much better scale.

I just finished cleaning, annealing, sizing and trimming 85 5.56 cases. Decided to prime them all and I had had enough.

I hate trimming.

was a great day ,I got the Star all tuned up wit bullet feed and air regulated.
Run 65 # of 45 apc 230 gr.
I made my own shovel handle and a couple other tweeks ,stuff I made on the lathe.
Every thing I did sped up the process.I was thinking air assist with foot pedal but its fast already.
Tomorrow I start either on the forty or maybe the nines
I really like the hard lube,canunaba and bee wax.the heated base really is the cats meow with that.

Mine are about fifteen years different in age.
I had to set one set of tool heads for the small primed one .

I sat and looked at the 25 meticulously loaded 175gr SMKs, and the still 3 feet deep snow that separates me from my backstop. Not only that but it sounds like there is some logging going on beyond the property line. Until I can figure out WTF is going on, no down range launching of lead for me.

I'm bummed beyond bumming.

Anyhow, that's the plan. Small primer on one, large on the other. I already have like 11 tool heads, so I'm good there. There's probably a good 15-20 year gap in age between mine as well. I picked up this second one used for $300. At that price, I just couldn't say no!

Found a box of 1,000 100 G .380 bullets from RMR on door step.

Got excited then remembered all I have in powder is some 700-X

It works,but won't meter well. So will go back to single stage loading for a few hundred till some other powder becomes available.

I managed to run threw all the bricklets from the last batch of W W 's
Wound up with 43 # 's of 45/230 grain bullets.
Next rainy day the star will make short work of them.

Shot and chrono'd some .45acp and 9mm loads through my 220 and BHP. Snow still way too deep to put out the steel. Rifle collected dust this time.

Snow. Ugh. We just got another 3" tonight. It's still falling.

I received my order of IMR 4756 yesterday [ got to take what you can get]
I loaded up some 38 spl's with some freebie 147 gr rn .357 dia. Quite impressed. Did not have a problem hitting the six" targets on metal man at 25 yds.

The powder you got is the cream of the crop in my opinion,some of the most accurate loading I ever got with a Sierra 146 semi jacket.
They don't make them anymore.
Things got to be tac-t-cool these days,pleasure shooting has taken a back seat to good stuff.

I love free bullets. There was a dealer there giving them away.

I received 1.5K of Swiss manufactured 92gr FMJRN .309in. bullets last P.M. via the USPS. These things are like "hen's teeth" to find. They are for 30 Luger brass. Now it is time to start developing some good loads. Sure wish I could get my hands on some Unique Powder. I am not out, but would feel better if I had a 4# or 8# jug sitting on my bench.
