Athlon has just announced its chronograph that is a blatant copy of the Garmin, except at a much lower cost. Based on the description in the SHOT show video, it does seem to have some improved features. But although I can’t find confirmation (imagine that?), I assume it’s made in China like the Athlon scopes, so I’m glad I already have a Garmin and don’t have to deal with that temptation.

That does seem pretty blatant

MSRP is about $150 difference, but you can find the Garmin for less than the Athlon when comparing their street price
