LDBOrdered a new press
I don't have room for a bench and full suite of gear. So I did the next best thing that may even be a better thing. I ordered a Buchanan hand press. If it's even half as nice as it looks it will be great.

marksman41I like portable stuff. Interested to read your experience once you have a chance to put it through its paces.

flesheatingvirusNifty design. I wouldn't want to load a bunch of rounds on there, but some small batches wouldn't be bad.

KP93LDB,
Look forward to the AAR. I am considering either this or Lee Hand Press to break into reloading now that I am retired. For a number of reasons, full bench mount is not an option for my situation. That being said, I am not sure that the reloading endeavors I envision justify the expenditure of this kit over cheaper Lee variant where those $s could then be recapitalized on primers, powder, etc…
Again thanks for sharing and please do update with your thoughts!

armoredI have found that a SOLID bench/mount is required regardless of what kind of press you have.
I would start there.
I agree with starting with a simple LEE press/dies.

400mOuch!
That press is pretty slick but man that looks like it would hurt every joint from the elbows down in short order. I can see seating and crimping, especially at the range, would be fantastic but sizing rifle brass with that looks painful. I think I’d want longer handles for that. It looks like it would tackle pistol brass with ease. Please let us know how it works for you.
