Ive got pounds of Bullseye so could do the traditional 2.7 gr load.

Is there something better wit Win 231? Have a bunch of that too.

A buddy and I are doing NRA bullseye this Summer. Both shooting with Smith revolvers.

Thanks

Both will work, many will argue that Bullseye is better. Try some of the suggested light loads of 231 and see how it works for you.

Nice talking to you again, max

I agree, either should be just fine.

Most recommend 3.0 grains of 231 to duplicate the 2,7 grains of Bullseye load for the 148 grain HBWC

I have shot a lot of Speer wadcutters with 3.2 gr W231.
Why 3.2? Because that is what a CH bushing calibrated for 2.7 of Bullseye delivers with 231. My old CH progressive did not have a continuously adjustable powder measure like Dillon.
