Giraud Power Trimmer Question
If the brass is not long enough to trim does that mean that the Giraud also does not chamfer or deburr the brass?

Thank you,

Yes, it will give it a chamfer and deburr even if it doesn't have to trim much or anything. When I run virgin brass through, it very rarely trims anything but it does give it a nice chamfer.

Doug packs a case with the unit to show how it's adjusted. I tweaked mine ever so slightly when I first got it and never adjusted it since. I've trimmed close to 10,000 cases with it, it's really easy to use.

Even now, since I trim at every loading, there is very little that gets removed but I always get a nice chamfer.

Spoke with Doug today. He seemed like a good guy to do business with and now I know for sure how to pronounce Giraud.

Thanks for the info NikonUser. It would be nice to remove the Trim Mate from the bench but I suppose it will still have some uses.

Doug is a character. I didn't realize there was an issue with pronouncing his name. :-)

I sold my Trim Mate to a fellow shooter last years. It served me well for several years but it had been languishing on a shelf after I bought the Giraud trimmer.

Next to go will be the Chargemaster, but not right away.
