As far as I can tell, CA CCW is okay in the Mono Lake area (typical sight seeing / hiking areas), including Bodie and Manzanar.

But as all things gun related in CA, it's hard to really determine.

Anybody have an insights into any CCW restrictions in the Mono Lake area, inclusive of national, state, county areas?

Bodie (proper) is a state park. CA restricts possession there. Here is a reference:

Thank you. I saw that. But then I also saw this which seems like a reputable, respected source (but would like it posted in an official government sponsored page). It's consistent with other situations here but not sure if parks are an exception. CA laws are arbitrary so it's really difficult to make logical inferences. Refer to the Notes section

And I'm further confused by "regulation" vs "penal code / law". Idiot politicians muck up life here.
