i am looking at possibly putting a red dot sight on my M18 for concealed carry . there are so many different brands and types i am getting lost looking through all of them. but one that has caught my eye is the Romeo 1 Pro. either 3 or 6 moa. i am thinking 6 as i am getting older and my eyes are not as good as they were 40 years ago. anyone have any pros/cons of the Romeo 1 Pro?
The Romeo 1 Pro is probably an "ok" sight. There are some complaints out there about the durability. If you are buying within the Sig ecosystem, the newer Romeo X series is significantly better.
Otherwise, Holosun, Trijicon, Steiner, and Aimpoint are all good options.

thanks for the reply. no idea what sig ecosystem is, but i ordered the romeo pro1 the other day. should be here tomorrow or monday. i guess i will see if it is any good ornot.
The "Sig Ecosystem" would be all of the products made by Sig. Sig definitely strives to sell everything that can go in or on the gun. Sights, optics, lights, holsters, ammo, etc. Most manufacturers aren't doing this. Not saying there's anything right or wrong about it, but it's what they're doing.

ahh ok. that makes sense. when i looked up "sig ecosystem" on google all i got were a bunch of hits for a company with s i g initials that worked with big landowners to create environmental land management ecosystems
well, the Romeo 1 pro came in today and i got it on. zeroed perfectly according to my boresighter laser. i doubt if i will be able to get to the range before this weekend though to test it on paper.
