Tupperware Dr. |
I’ve been a fan of the Glock 26 and 27 for many years, and have ankle carry both of them. As a few folks have already stated, you definitely need full cut trouser legs such as duty pants, and the weight of the pistol itself may move some but cinching it tight seems to solve that issue for me. As an alternate method, have you considered an inside the waistband holster which is tuckable? I use the Tulster Oath model carried in appendix position and with the flush magazine it is quite concealed as long as the shirt you’re wearing isn’t too tight.

Another vote for the Alessi / Ritchie. I carried a G27 and later a G26 in one pre-retirement, and liked it well enough to buy the same model for my G43 and S&W J-frame. Concealment hasn't been an issue. If you purposely stare at my left ankle, you MIGHT be able to tell there's something there. But to borrow from Shawshank Redemption: How often do you actually look at a man's shoes? It is not fast, but it is comfortable and a significant improvement over not having a weapon on your person.
