RileyOregon Non-Resident CCW permit?
Is this possible and if so, is there a friendly sherif on the eastern side of the state that would be willing to issue?
Oregon doesn’t recognize any other states permits.

filipowsIn the past it was the sheriff of Grant County had a process. Check their website. Only certain days and times. I believe you also need to make an appointment.

Flash-LBNo, but from reading the rules on this PDF, it looks like it's almost impossible to get.

sourdough44I’m sure you checked, FL & UT are the more common non-res permits. I didn’t look up what you gain where.
Sounds like OR may not honor a few common ones?

c1steveI have been told that residents neighboring states, who live relatively close to Oregon, can obtain permits relatively easily.
Also if you own or lease real estate in Oregon, you can obtain a permit.

konata88I think Klamath is pretty friendly.
The challenge was / may be in logistics for in-person interview.
