WarhorseI must confess
Been carrying my Ruger LCP .380 in my shorts pocket quite often lately. The lighter weight is noticeable compared to my P365.

sourdough44I think most will agree, an LCP in the pocket is better than the larger gun left home.
I’ve been experimenting with even earlier details, eye contact, facial expressions, and heightened S.A., often walking the German Shepard. Usually doing so seems more effective than an LCP in the pocket. I’m still in the research phase.

Flash-LBMassad Ayoob once said "A .380 is nice to have when you're not carrying a gun."
I don't quite agree with him as once or twice a year I carry a .380 Kel Tec.

I’ve been carrying my Ruger LCP Max in a pocket holster for the last week I’ve been on vacation in Maui (Ret LEO w/LEOSA CCW), and it’s been very unobtrusive. Mas’s big issue with .380 ACPs is their general lack of penetration and I carry mine loaded with Lehigh Defense “Extreme Penetrators.” These rounds penetrate about the same as a good 9mm JHP and their fluted point disrupts tissue better than typical FMJ RN bullets. Maybe not as good as a 9mm P with JHPs, but good enough IMHO.
