Looking to get user experience using this chest pack.

Why? Easier to carry when sitting--especially on the tractor doing farm work.

It's also less obvious for an open carry chest holster; will use on hiking trails, outdoor areas...not an "around town" method--I have other IWB holsters for carry.

Online reviews say it's sizeable to carry a G19/G17...so little issues to carry my P320 Compact (or anything else I have).

Thoughts? Experiences?

Not with that one.

However, I like a Hill People Kit bag for the same reason. Fits a Glock long slide G40 in 10mm or a 4” revolver. I have the original medium.

Thanks--I considered these, but don't like the boxy-look of the bag.

I have no experience with the bag in question, but like Riley I have an HPG original medium kit bag. While not perfect for every situation, the chest bag idea is really handy for hiking, kayaking, biking, and running. It's handy for carrying a lot of stuff other than a gun, too. I'd say give it a try...I think you'll find it convenient for what you're planning to do with it.

If I use the hiking trails around MQT, you can often run into many snowflakey types. The full concealment feature of my Hill People Gear rig keeps them from being triggered or melting down. I like to be considerate of these tender types, all while enjoying the benefits of chest rig carry. Works good on the bike trails, too.
