I asked this several months ago and was shown the Graith Specialist belt. I love the belt. I wear it as much as I can with zero issues. My only issue is the width. I need another one thats 1.25" wide. My dress slacks I wear 4-5 days a week for work don't fit the Graith well without wearing them out. I would like as small of a buckle as I can get. The Graith is perfect in that aspect. I like the velcro too. Any recommendations? Thanks SF

It's a traditional belt, so no velcro, I've been using two Kramer double-thick horsehide 1.25" wide belts, for well over a decade. Once or twice a year I got them with leather due to keep them looking good, for when I wear suits. ___________________________________________ "He was never hindered by any dogma, except the Constitution." - Ty Ross speaking of his grandfather General Barry Goldwater "War is the remedy that our enemies have chosen, and I say let us give them all they want." - William Tecumseh Sherman

I've been using a 1.25" horsehide belt from the Beltman for the past few months. My EDC is a Beretta PX4 Compact with one spare mag. It's worked out so well that I haven't used my 1.5" belts in quite some time. While mine has a buckle, they do offer a velcro option, I believe. I have one of Mike’s 1.25” belts (along with several of his 1.5” belts) very happy with it. Success always occurs in private, and failure in full view. Complacency sucks…

Here's a second vote for the Beltman horsehide belt. I'm very happy with mine. ------------------------------ "They who would give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." - Benjamin Franklin "So this is how liberty dies; with thunderous applause." - Senator Amidala (Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith)

I think any of the quality makers will work fine. My 1.25" cowhide belt came from The Beltman over a decade ago and is still looking and working fine. I use the Obenauf leather treatment on it once or twice a year and that seems to keep it in great condition. I have a couple of like new spares I've bought over the years when they've popped up on eBay but haven't needed them yet and at this rate, should be a lifetime supply. ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.

Bigfoot now offers 1.25” leather belts with some buckle options. Worth a look. I’m very happy with my steel-lined 1.5” Bigfoot and will probably add a 1.25” version for reasons similar to yours.. Commo

I'm a long time Sparks user. All of my belts since 1972 have been Sparks 1 1/4". Use them at the range as well as suits, dress pants, jeans, etc. With my Sparks holsters, IWB and OWB, no problems using large guns like P226 and P229. Stiff enough to carry the weight and are comfortable as well. I'm sure there are a number of quality belts that are as good. You gotta pay the money for quality. ______________________ An expert is one who knows more and more about less and less until he knows absolutely everything about nothing. --Nicholas Murray Butler
