Friends, can anyone recommend a good leather holster for my 220ST. Looks like I may be carrying mine on my hip (or shoulder) as bear protection hunting elk this fall. I would prefer a
10mm, but funds are tight. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Go on Ebay and search for "The Holster Store". Or "Holster Monster". Both have a wide variety of reasonably priced leather.

There are many threads on hiking holsters here. You may want to search for them as so many people gave specific advice already.

One such thread speaks of chest rig called the Kenai. https://gunfightersinc.com/kenai-chest-holster/

On this forum a few lines below is this thread

Highly recommend galco. Fit and finish is superb and nice and thick leather that is soft inside and will last. All of mine are over 20 years old and perfect

Take a look at Garrett Ind OWB offerings. They are leather lined kydex. They have served me well for the past ~7yrs.

For your intended use, also look at Simply Rugged; they offer good coverage and can be converted to chest carry.

Another thumbs up for Member Ryan Grizzle (aka: Country Boy) and I'd also like to give a shoutout to member Tim Thurner of TT Gunleather. They'll both happily take care of your holster needs!
