Just received a very economical OWB holster for my 226. Heavy leather, economical because it is suppose to fit more than one pistol for each of their model. This one is primarily oriented towards the Sig 226 family. Only $49 from Amazon. Pic is from 1791 web site. Mine is actually uniform dark brown.

I just got the same one for my Sig 1911R TacOps. I found it interesting that the P22X holster also works on the 1911. Fit on the 1911 is ok, but you can tell it isn’t custom to the model. Snug, but a little room to allow front to back “wiggle” if you jiggle it.

I also ordered a Desantis that is specifically for railed 1911s, assuming it fits better, I’ll probably keep the 1791 for my P226’s and the P220 I will be ordering soon.

The Desantis holster arrived today, definitely a better fit on the Sig 1911R.

Checked the P226 Legion SAO and P226 TacOps in the 1791, and it fits both like a glove. Definitely a keeper for the price.
