Nevada – Nevada just posted their new listing of states they will honor. They have removed Florida, Mississippi, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota and Virginia. They don’t give a reason they just posted a new list. It is dated Effect July 1, 2021. I am making the changes for this to the site now as those states are not listed anymore and there is no way for a person to know that those permits removed are still valid for the rest of this month. Florida will also stop honoring Nevada come July 1. Florida will only honor states that honor them. Also I have a ton of updates to the site coming up July 1 and have to start getting some of the work out of the way.

Louisiana Permitless Carry – Has passed both houses with Veto Proof Votes and goes to the governor who says he will veto it. Dean Weingarten made a post that tells about the bill and a Veto Session that will be held if he vetoes it and does a much better job on giving the info needed than I ever could.

U.S. Supreme Court - Court has made a ruling that answers the question about Reservations and State Highways that pass through them and who has authority to stop you. You can read the decision at

Texas Permitless Carry Guide - The Texas State Rifle Association has put out a link to a very good guide on the new Texas Permitless Carry Law. The Guide is from US LawShield and is free. You can go to US LawShield (https://www.uslawshield.com/texas-constitutional-carry/) and put your email address in if you wish and they will send you a link to the PDF file or you can click on the link below from the TSRA https://cdn.brandfolder.io/5Z1...ingle-Pg-Digital.pdf

Thanks for the update!

I would really like to know the supposed reason FL was dropped.

A concealed carry class is required in FL unless you are a veteran.

Usually that gets FL CCs honored in most non- NY or CA states.

It seems like they add and delete Florida about as often as I change underwear. I don’t get it.
