I have a couple belts that were made by Big Rob's Gunleather, and I dearly love them. However, he's not making belts right now, so there's the rub.

I have a friend from church who's been coveting my belts every time I wear them (every day, essentially, so that's a lotta coveting...). I told him Roberto isn't doing his thing right now, and he asked if I knew anyone who can make a nice quality belt like mine. I don't have anyone that comes to mind, but I know some guys (that's y'all), so who all can I recommend?

For point of reference, my belts are both double stitched, measure 1/4" thick, medium brown with white stitching, and have velcro on the inside to make concealed velcro tuck straps invisible. Square silver (nickel??) buckle.

Who ya got?

Beltman or Ryan Grizzle would be a good place to start.
I bought my first real carry belt from the beltman about 12 years ago and have been wearing it since on a daily basis. Still looks like it will last several years more.

I can recommend A&G Custom Gunleather’s belts. For an itch that needs immediate scratching, check the Quick Ship section of their site.

If you are looking for a belt that is sturdy and yet comfortable and won't break the bank at all, check out Crossbreed Seconds website. Most listed there are $40 or so. You can usually find something that will work. These are great for work or casual. Most only have a small cosmetic issue.

+1
I have 2 of his belts and they are outstanding.

Armour belts are awesome. I have two pushing 10 years old... back before they were called armour belts... and one more recent dress belt.

Only complaint is that they can be too thick for some holsters and some belt loops.

I have been wearing Bigfoot gun belts for the last 4 years of a great product. Heavy stitching with a piece of spring steel in between the two layers so you can wear a full size all day long with no problem

That has happened to me also.
I have a belt from Hank's that I use when the Armour is to thick for a certain holster.
Good belt there also.

I have a 1.5” Armour dress belt with the internal stiffener, that solves the thickness problem.

I bought one from A Better Belt last month and love it. It's a 1/4" thick, but the way he puts it together, it doesn't look like and it handles everything for OWB to my VM2 with ease. This one is made from buffalo and reinforced with a nylon webbing that makes it stiff.

I really like Kore Essentials:

I'd have a hard time going back to a conventional belt for CCW after using a Kore for a while.

I second this. I have 3 of them (Brown leather, Black leather and the Tan Tactical) and simply love them.

Thank you to everyone who posted. I essentially formed a list and sent to him, will try to follow up and let you know what he did and how it turned out.

Y'all rock, but you already know that.

I've had a BigFoot Gunbelt for a couple of years now and like it very much. The version I have is the 14oz steel lined.

I've seen Hanks less than perfect belts mentioned several times as being very good conventional belts w/o a stiffening liner. I always have to google "hanks less than perfect" to find the listings.
