CoolRich59Best Way to Backup Multiple Computers via Wifi?
Through the years we've had lots of computers (all Macs) in the house. With the kids gone, we're down to three Macs (one MacMini and two MacBooks), but they have lots of pictures, music, documents, etc. that I would hate to lose.
For past last decade or so, I backed everything up via Apple's Time Machine application to an Apple Time Capsule. But, about a year ago, the Time Capsule stopped working. I could not get it to run again and Apple no longer supports it. My New Year's resolution is to find another solution.
Today, I signed up for the iDrive cloud back-up service, but I'd still like to have a local back-up similar what I had with the Time Capsule.
One thought I had was to buy a new Mac Mini and use my old Mac Mini with a 1TB hard drive as the back-up drive. I assume there are cheaper solutions, but this gives me a plausible excuse to get a new computer.
However, I'd be interested in hearing what others have done to back-up multiple computers.

pace40I just use an external hard drive for backup storage drive. I think mine is a "My Book" from Western Digital. Something like 5 or 6TB of memory. I think they're running about $150 now. Much less when I bought mine. Not WiFi but quick USB plug and play. I only backup once a month though.

CoolRich59Thanks. I looked at those. But, unless I'm missing something, the WD drives require you to attach it to each computer and manually do the backup. I'm too lazy to do that regularly and am looking for something that I can schedule to run automatically per a set schedule.
