Daniel Craig back for another Bond movie?
Looks that way, at least online. Apparently, Tom Hiddelston was originally looked at to play Bond but the producer deemed him “too smug and not tough enough” for the role. I guess they offered enough $$ for Craig to reprise the role one more time.

It'll be interesting to see what the plot of the film will be.

I hope they go with a younger Bond, next go round. Though, I would love to see someone like Tom Hardy play the role, if it's true with Craig, the next Bond film won't be done for a couple more years. It would push the time frame for the next actor following Craig 7-10 years per se?

Last I heard they had offered Craig $50million for the next Bond film, and he was still on the fence about it.

I don't see Loki taking down those two Africans in the stairwell like Craig did in Casino Royale.

I kind of agree on Hiddleston. I like him, and I don't really mind the smugness, although he does have more of it than any other Bond actor, but he doesn't seem like a good fit, physically. Too skinny.

I was thinking the same thing until I watched Hiddleston in "The Night Manager". After seeing it, I could see Hiddleston being Bond.

Yep. He'd be great.

Let Craig be Bond. Anything to keep him away from the rest of the Stieg Larsson books.

I like Craig as Bond very much.
I would like to see Jim Caviezel give it a go

I can see Tom Hardy personifying Bond quite well, after DC is done...

Bullshit. Tom Hiddleston was James Bond in The Night Manager.

As for Daniel Craig, I can't believe they're even considering him again, after all the copious bitching and whinging he did during the press tours for the last couple Bond flicks, grumping and scowling his way through interviews while going on and on about how awful making these Bond movies is, how the role is worthless and misogynistic, how miserable he is now that he's stuck being typecast as Bond, that he'd rather kill himself than do another Bond film, that he regrets ever taking on the role in the first place, that he's been trying to get out of playing Bond ever since he signed the contract, that doing Bond films is little better than doing porn, etc. etc. ad nauseum.

It got so bad that Sony executives actually had to have a "come to Jesus" meeting with Craig to tell him to knock off all the pissing and moaning, or else.

Tom Huddleston was not even a real spy in TNM.

It was a good series and Huddleston was good in that character but, no, he wasn't James Bond.

I know his name but those are autocorrects and I'm lazy.

As he has come out strongly as anti-gun, one can only assume that he must continue to prostitute his hypocritical morality to make a buck. What an asshole. I apologize comparing him to whores who are honest.

That's the one. I still like Richard Armitage for the role.

Don't care why, he is the best one not Connery. And, even then, it is pretty close.

Craig was able to reanimate Bond, despite his whining.
And I vote for Hardy, too!
