Lassie episode “The Killer” may have been a touch too much for the 4 and 2 year old
We have watched a number of Lassie episodes and they are pretty easy going.

An Episode called “The Killer” had the 4 and 2 year olds a little shocked.

First they have the German Shepherd, Lassie does not like, kill the Bobcat because they think it is killing the sheep. Well it was the old shepherd killing the sheep so they figure that out and they shoot and kill the shepherd.

They did not quite understand shooting the dog.

Show them The Dark Crystal. That's a great way to scare young children.

Arc.

I was OK with Lassie. It was the flying monkeys that scared the crap out of me.

How about Return to Oz for some nightmare-inducing imagery? The wheelers... freaky.
