Anyone playing Magic the Gathering: Arena?

The thread in the Lounge and a friend playing it over Discord got me to download the game. It's free to play, but you have the option of spending money in order to buy booster packs and cosmetic stuff.

I am by no means a good player, but I've always had a passing interest in Magic since I first played way back in '94.

I'm currently watching a lot of CovertGoBlue on YouTube to get a feel for deck building and play strategies, but would like to play some friendly games against people I "know" and possibly learn new tactics.

I have played off and on with MTG since 94, Had the first-gen lotus, alibaba, and a ton of other first few release cards.

Drifted away and when my kids were 7 was gifted about 90k cards. we have been using those for about a decade. It has been a blast. My son and I still play a game or three when he has time.

I was on Arena from about 2013 to 15. I have not been back since. I do not have the internet here to be able to participate.
