Ellen was on in the waiting room at the hospital ( old post)
I took a neighbor in for testing.

Yes I've seen small portions of her show before.

Many years ago she explained gay people actions to me so that I understood it, for that I give her credit , It changed how I thought and processed the stuff gay people do , it made life better for me.

BUT !

she goes on for days and days about being anti bully, and bullies are horrible then in the same show she "Pranks" her guests / employee's and embarrasses them on national tv !
oxymoronish in my opinion.

she includes all kinds of stories / video's about kids on her show ,stating how adorable and wonderful they are ,even show casing some very talented kids,
but then she

makes sure you know that she never wants her own children.

She asks 60% of her male guests to show off their bodies and oggles them and makes comments,
but reminds you that she hates penis.

seems to ok to make her audience members look like ass hats and morons as long as you give them a card for target or a tv.

I had to go wait in the car ,her mixed signals gave me a worm.

maybe I am not smart enough to understand the complexities of her

There are a multitude of ironies encapsulated in that statement alone that I'm sure someone will be along to pull the jokes out of it, but for what it's worth, I believe that may be your most coherent post in all 48,399 of them.

Congrats, bendable!

I thought this was about Ellen who lived in Tiny Town and liked Jimmy Dean breakfasts. Ok it is about Ellen Degeneres and a show that was on the television at the Tiny Town hospital. You then expressed your attitudes about gay relationships. In addtion you clearly pointed out by example how truly conflicted Ellen seems to be about her own sexuality. Good post. A lot of people do not think as deeply as you do about things. Thanks

So it seems the tide that is the gayifacation of America continues to ebb and flow, to and fro, over the surface of our collective consciousness.

Ellen Degenerate is an irritant, pushing a subtle, but obvious, gay agenda. I would sooner drink the puerile discharge from an irritated hemorrhoid on the anus of an enraged Japanese Snow Monkey than watch her drivel. And I don't mean that in the good way.

I just can't watch her show. Can't do it. Nope. And hell nope.

Actually, I am just a little bit homophobic. At least that's how I behave when I joke around with the Gay Guys I know. I am open and honest with them about how I feel, and we respect each others positions, and that's that.

I think I've mentioned it before... but I keep a Universal Remote app on my phone. It's perfect in situations like these. Can always at least mute it if not change the channel.

That's actually pretty brilliant. Need to do the same.

I attended a live taping of the show once with my wife while we were visiting LA. Trump was one of the guests.

ETA - I am not a fan of the show and this was a long time ago.

I haven't watched any of her shows but first saw her when she was doing stand-up comedy. She struck me as a nice person. In that regard, you may have seen her over the weekend sitting in the Dallas Cowboys owner's box with her girlfriend, wife, whatever and George and Laura Bush. Today's headlines recount how her followers on Twitter have been castigating her for socializing with those Neanderthal Republicans. To her credit, Ellen immediately straightened them out by saying these were friends of hers and she doesn't pick her friends based on their politics. Good for her.

It seems that I am not the only one ,
In the past four days I 've seen numerous stories about her employees complaining about how they are treated by Ellen's upper management.

Indeed Smile

Ellen talks about being a nice person, but, if you want to really see what's going on in there, watch her Ellen's Game of Games on NBC sometime, and watch the look of malicious glee on her face when she puts it to a contestant. It's actually kind of disturbing.

We enjoyed the show for a while, but it got kind of repetitious and that look on her face too disquieting.

Do yourself and others a favor. When you go a waiting area and they have on ellen degenerate, cnn or smilar, or those old witches of the view, ask the receptionist to change the channel.

Or, and this is the most fun, or so I've heard: Big Grin: go to the app store and down load a universal tv control app for your phone.

You can sit there and discretely turn that damn thing off, or change the channel, or mute it.

No one will be any wiser, because you appear to be texting or just using the internet on your phone.

The View cast, Ellen, Oprah are all in the same category to me, I don't watch and don't care for any of them.

Not so much. The phone-based remotes all say you must be on the same network as the TV, and that you must accept the code displayed on the TV. Not so subtle, that.
