I pretty much like all of the John Wayne movies. Even the earlier ones.

I just watched Brannigan two weeks ago. Here are some others that haven't been mentioned.

Hatari
Donovan's Reef
Blood Alley
Jet Pilot
North to Alaska
The Sea Chase
The Fighting Kentuckian
Wake of the Red Witch
The Fighting Seabees

Grit has been playing it a lot recently. I've only watched it straight through once but have probably seen it three times if I were to add all of the overlapping partial viewings.

Yes...it's the Duke's last movie, and I always thought it was a fine tribute to him.

This is one of my favorite John Wayne scenes. Did you know he spoke fluent Spanish?

The Duke died in quite a number of his films. Kind of unusual for the leading man to die in a movie.

El Dorado is one of my favorites. James Caan was really funny in that one.

This is mine. I love most of them, but it's hard to imagine a film made in the 40's that could be that good.

Love the Duke, from when I was very small.

Think I've probably seen Hatari 50 times or more.

Really enjoyed McQ, too.

War Wagon might have been one of the first of his films I remember seeing.

When I worked for Karma, had to fly out there several times for work and the closest airport is named after him. There's a big statue inside.

Love The Duke! Hard to pick a favorite but maybe his cavalry trilogy are my first picks and I always try to watch Quiet Man on St Patricks Day.
