Ghostbusters Afterlife was great and Top Gun Maverick was phenomenal. This is being done by the same folks that did Top Gun Maverick so I am pretty sure it will be worth two hours of my time.
I’d say it will be better than 99% of the garbage being put out these days.

No, the only people from Top Gun: Maverick that are coming over is Jerry Bruckheimer and the composer. All the important people like the director Joseph Kosinski or the writers of Top Gun: Maverick are not working on this picture.

I just watched the original again two days ago... two funny scenes that are easy to miss...
in the opening credits of Detroit... little black kid with milk squirting out of his nose and when Axel first gets to LA and is walking down the street and two guys pass him by in leather suits and he looks, shakes his head and laughs... they are the suits he wore in his first concert tours I'm pretty sure.

That's the name I couldn't remember! I kept thinking the character's name was Binki, but knew that wasn't right.
I’m looking forward to this even just for the nostalgia. While staying out of the pre-Christmas mayhem yesterday, I watched some clips from the 50s-80s and they were entertaining and funny. Bring that back!
One bit from the 50s had a guy buying Christmas gifts. He asks about watches and the clerk says, “What kind of watch, we have watches for men, women, and dogs.” He asks, “Dogs?”. She replies, “Well, this is Beverly Hills.” Never gets old.
