For those of us who are fans of "Vanishing Point" (the original movie) this is sad news. His death happened last month. I'll watch it tonight on DVD.

rat2306He'd been off the screen/radar for almost 15 years. Last mention of him I saw was on a YouTube feature regarding actors/actresses in their late 80s and 90s such as Dick Van Dyke, Mel Brooks, Clint Eastwood, etc.
