Mega-Gordillio is a great name. I imagine it's just Godzirra in a sombrero though.

Arc.

.... and there's the Goddamn little girls and here come the freaking F86s and there's the artillery firing at Mega-Gordillio and Mechdonton or whatever the fuck and the guys in the rubber monster suits are falling off cliffs into the ocean or blowing up or running into powerlines.

the first one was awesome. But the 70's? holy terrible movies batman. They have not aged well at all.

No matter how awful the movie, I will always have respect for Takashi Shimura.

These movies were broadcast on Friday or Saturday midnight in San Antonio when I was growing up. It was a real 'kid victory' when my parents would let me stay up to watch. The favorite of me and my friend John was Godzilla Jr. Most of the monsters did give the impression of being interchangeable. I figured that maybe the Japanese knew something about monsters that we Americans did not.
