then you might like a 70s vintage movie I watched recently

Wake In Fright (1971)

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067541/

it's streaming on Amazon Prime currently

Is a kind of 'descent into madness' tale . has a 'youngish' Donald Pleasence in it.

Filmed in the outback of Australia. Its pretty good if you like the genre. Think of it kinda like an Australian 'Deliverance' with a little 'Clockwork Orange' thrown in.

Warning : there is a graphic hunting scene where real animals are filmed being killed.

It was a hugely controversial film when it came out, on a number of levels. I'll watch it again, it was a little difficult to find for a while.

Definitely worth checking out.
