I Forgot How Much "Gentle On My Mind" Relaxed Me As A Youngster
Dad owned a lumber yard when I was growing up. We hired "hippies", "cowboys", and "Jesus freaks". We all got along and worked our asses off. Occasionally dad would call it quits early and bring in some bbq that mom made and have everyone do a sit down. When this song came up on the radio on the pickup that was playing everyone would smile. Good memories for sure. Thanks Dad.
