Specifically, a taller stand-in who looked nothing like Bela, even though his face was covered.

We saw Earth Girls are Easy not long ago. Geena Davis in her prime. We enjoyed it a lot.

that was a decent movie - for a campy Sci-Fi
Plan 9 is in a league of its own...its so bad its actually good
and then you have the whole Killer Tomatoes thing going on at the same time...

Here is a photo of the mask. I had a lot of fun wearing that around at night scaring people back in a kinder, gentler time. If I did it today, I'd probably get shot.
