SigSauerP226...You know what date is on this coin?
No.
1958. It's been traveling twenty-two years to get here. And now it's here. And it's either heads or tails. And you have to say. Call it.

MikeGLIEd Tom: How many of those things you got now?
Ellis: Several. Depends on what you mean by "got". Some of them are half wild, some are just outlaws.

radioman^^^ By the way, I always assumed this line stems from the fact that some of the taller buildings in large cities skipped floor #13. So when he went to the elevator, he noted the top floor number was one more than the actual number of floors. Correct assumption?

I don't think it was ever made clear how many floors that building has. It probably had more to do with the street level floor being called "L" and the next floor "1".

creedbratton2Not sure how many times i watched it before i realized there is no real music. A couple spots where there is some faint music, but nothing like the soundtrack you usually get from movies.

I think it was done to allow the viewer to determine what did, what is, and what will happen.
Kind of like the end, you don't know if he killed Lewellan's (sp?) wife but; if you notice how he checks his boot bottoms as he leaves and recall how he ALWAYS discarded anything with another person's blood on it, the viewer can figure out what happened.

DaBigBRNo Country for Old Men is my favorite film.
It is remarkably faithful to the book and I'd recommend that you read it if you liked the film. The Coens knew what to leave alone.
