So sorry to hear of Jack's passing.

A good long life, a good home and a quiet, peaceful passing are great things, and I'm glad Jack enjoyed them.

Ah yes, our pets are certainly family to us and it is very hard to see them go!
My condolences, RIP Jack

Sorry JHE...

I'm constantly amazed on how much some needy 4 legged thing impacts our lives in such a positive manner.

That is a very good run for a cat. Damn things really have a way, don't they? Sorry for the loss. I've adopted three feral cats. They're fixed and fed daily (all day, daily). Once in a while one of them let's me pet him.

Sorry for your loss. My first cat came into my life the same way. We also had a long hair tuxedo that choose us. Special breed as far as I am concerned.

Something special about when they choose you instead of the other way around.

It sounds like Jack made a wonderful choice following you and had a long, happy life. Now you are privileged to have the memories of such a good friend. Hold them close.

Well... crap. I'm sorry for your loss. My cat is generally our constant companion at home, and would leave a thundering silence if lost.

I'm sorry for the loss of your buddy jhe.

Losing a pet sucks, I've been there a few times myself.

Thank you for giving him a good home for all those years.

Every animal I've ever had the pleasure of sharing my house with I'm sure felt that when they passed, that they wanted me to open my home up to another furry friend, saved from a shelter, and provide them with all the love I gave them.

Take time to heal, then visit a shelter and open your home and heart again.
