On the eve of the election some lighter entertainment with a very lovely, classy, and talented lady. I never saw this movie but will have to check it out. I think the first movie I saw her in was The Rocketeer and have been a fan ever since.

That was filmed at a Target here in Atlanta, Dekalb county I think. A gorgeous lady then and now. If you really want to see alot of her, watch The Hot Spot.

She has striking features. It's a shame she never became a big mega star. Oh maybe that's a blessing in disguise.

She has worked steadily since the 1980s until today, a feat that most actresses cannot achieve.
Here she is in her first role in Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in America, 11 years old.

I believe that's mostly by choice. As oddball pointed out, she's been working steadily since she was 11. She succeeding in graduating from hot young thing to serious actress. She has an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She's not big enough to command 8-figure salaries, but she can afford to be picky about the roles she takes.

Last movie she was in was the last Top Gun I think.

As a hot young thing, I'm sure the Harvey Weinsteins of Hollywood would have wanted to lay hands on her. And maybe that's better than so many of the young actresses who went big but had lives ruined by drugs, sex, and rock and roll.

Actually it was Bad Behavior.
I first saw her in Once Upon a Time in America. I fell in love with her then. And it was appropriate since I was 11. The next film that blew my hair back was Some Girls. She was 17/18. She is a great actress and just stunning. Love of my life like so many.

Ohhh, she was the admiral's daughter who owned the bar. I don't recognize actors from role to role, especially the good ones who aren't the mega star or leading role.
She was great in that role.

Labyrinth and Requiem for a Dream are what I think of with her.

Agreed. I like that song too.
My buddy and I first noticed Jennifer Connelly in the '80s Dario Argento horror flick Phenomena (released on VHS as Creepers). I asked him if he found her hot. He said sometimes she's cute, and in certain scenes she looks kinda plain. I agreed, which was weird, because to this day, we never agree when it comes to women.
Later, we saw Labyrinth in the theater. We were like, "Hey, it's the Creepers girl!" Same thing, sometimes she looked good, and at other times, a little plain.
A few years later, we saw the trailer for Career Opportunities. Our jaws both dropped: "Is that the Creepers girl?! HOLY MACKEREL!"

She is a cutie. I thought she looked great in Hulk.

No doubt about it. In Top Gun Maverick she proved that women get more beautiful when they get a bit older.
