"The Dogs of War", 1980.
Often found on TV but for some reason some scenes are cut. I find impossible to find on DVD. One of my favorites:

One of my favorites, similar to another favorite "Wild Geese".

Fredrick Frosyth's classic! Back when Africa was a giant free-fire zone and Marseille was the most dangerous port in the world. That movies, along with The Wild Geese, stoked my interest in mercenaries, leading to collecting Soldier of Fortune magazines back in the early 80's.

You can download it off of Amazon you'll have to rent/buy as its not Prime.

And despite seeing it dozens and dozens of times, I still laugh out loud when he shoots Kimba at the end.

Hey Pal
Am I wrong or was there a scene where he explains that their walls create a kill zone?

You sure that was 1980, I thought I watched in the theater in the late 70's....

edit.. I just looked up at corsair's post and realized I was remembering The Wild Geese...

That was a good flick, I saw it back in the 80s on HBO. Now it is a collector's item for outrageous prices.

"YOU'RE LATE!!!"

"The hell's going on here? Who's that?"

"Colonel Bobbi, you are under arrest..."

"President Okoye..."

"I am President."

"You're nobody."

"Shannon, get him out of here! This whole country is bought and paid for..."

"You're gonna have to buy it all over again!"
