2000Z-71The Grand Tour Season 3
Mixed on this episode. Some cool moments talking about the history of the PBR's, but other than that it was well, 3 old farts making an expensive home movie of their vacation.

AllenInARHow did I miss this update?!?!?
I think it's hilarious. Jizzle Drizzle??

And the look on those two women while Clarkson emptied the Right Guard.
Funny that there are still WW2 era PT boats, but no PBRs. Kinda sad.

casI can remember seeing PBR’s listed for sale in the Shotgun News in the early 90s so his comment
about none existing just isn’t true.
I guess what he really meant was they couldn’t find one easily enough.

AllenInAROr one seaworthy. Found this on Google. Seems like most are stripped hulls or static displays.

Good find. I found it hard to believe when Clarkson said there was no operational PBR's available however, the link provides some perspective. Anybody know the maintenance issues with the PBR...was the Jacuzzi water jets too foreign for the locals in SE Asia to work on?
Overall episode was entertaining, nothing standout. The scenes of them haggard and sleepless on the Cambodian shanty boats was hilarious. The tents set-up behind Clarkson for the crew had me laughing. I would've thought Clarkson would made mention of OP Game Warden to provide some perspective.
What was the reason for purchasing the AC unit that was installed on the PBR....film crew quarters?

AllenInARWhen I was looking for how many PBRs were around, I found a site where they were restoring one. I think I saw where the jets were something like $36K? Not sure if that was each or for the pair. LOL
Some PBR goodness...
