And I Just Saw Jeremiah Johnson Again
Among my all-time favorite movies, I used to watch it about once/year, and had the movie in both VCR and DVD formats over the years. I no longer have a playback device.

It was on TCM over the weekend. It had been a few years and it was great to see it again. So many great scenes, so many memorable lines. Beautiful locations in the eastern Wasatch and Uintas—repeated shots of Mount Timpanogos, maybe the prettiest mountain in Utah. I lived in worked in this part of Utah for 5 years not too many years after the movie was made; undoubtedly creating my personal affinity for it. A masterpiece in my not-so-refined opinion.

Were it worth the trouble?

Classic film that never gets old. I caught it the other day as well, for the hundred and eleventy seventh time.

My two biggest takeaways; never ask an old man to show you how to hunt grizz and, bury your coals a bit deeper than you think you should.

It's enjoyable to hunt griz, but skinning them? Not so much!

I watch it once a year (at least) usually in the late Fall. It’s a film made for cold weather.

Here’s the line that sticks out for me.
