Glynn863It will be interesting because I think at least one of the actors in the series was actually involved and wounded in the military response to the Oct 7th attack.

stkfoxFinished the season last night. I was particularly struck by their two episodes devoted to how Oct 7th went down from their perspective. What the Israelis have to put up with on a daily basis is hard to fathom. This series is very popular in Israel and, more surprisingly, in the Arab world.

konata88My buddies in ISR also mentioned that the two episodes are hard to watch. Also indicated that the horrors shown are just a fraction of what happened in reality. That being said, they liked S5. I'll watch it soon.

jljonesI just finished the last episode of Lioness S3. Looks like I’ll start this one up next to see who survived the end of the last season, best I recall it kinda left who lived and didn’t up in the air.

Glynn863I just finished watching Season 5 last night. There is no honor in the harm to non-combatants, regardless of the conflict.
What I really had a hard time accepting was the fact that these kibbutzes were in close proximity to belligerents and no one seemed to be adequately armed, especially in regards to supplies for safe rooms. The only resistance that I saw was the old guy on a rooftop with what looked like an AUG.
It was also interesting to show how so many people "fall" for a cause, without knowing the dirty details. The French wife.
JMHO, YMMV.

Ronin1069Damn. I missed season 4 completely - I have some catching up to do.
One of my favorite scenes/lines:
“Life is shit, that’s just how it is.”
Captain Ayub to Nurit.
