Unknown Number: The High School Catfish. Netflix Documentary about Cyber Bullying
I had not heard about this story. It’s a pretty well done documentary. I don’t even really have words!

I watched it and went in not knowing anything at all about the backstory. I enjoyed it and also thought it was well done. Most of all, I was surprised at how the documentarians managed to get all the parties involved to participate and how candid they were.

Agree with you both.
Want to say more, but also don't want to put spoilers out.

People will do most anything if there's money in it.

I doubt there was very much money compensated for appearing. If money is the primary motivator for someone to participate in a documentary, then it strains the credibility of the what they have to say. It would be like paying a witness to appear in a courtroom trial.
Took all of about 30-minutes of watching to figure out who it was.

I watched this a while back and I thought it was the other mother because she thought her son was better that his girlfriend. That being said, what parent would do that to her daughter and then blaming her prior abuse as part of the reason. I hate the "it's not my fault because of my trauma" excuse, but that is probably how this all started.

Such a dirty story yet it seemed most of those on camera had some undertone of well, not pleasure, something. The dad seemed the most genuine character.
