scot818One of the best movies ever made. As a side note, I met Ricky Harris about a year and a half ago when he was filming a movie called Check Point in Wilmington. He played the CI, Albert Torena in Heat. He was a genuinely nice guy and spent quite a long time talking to me and my son about film making. I hated to see he recently passed away.
I have Heat on DVD but not the Directors cut so I will probably get this. I would like to see it on the big screen but it's not playing near me.

ElToroIf you have the chance, see it in a theater with hi end sound or a home theater with good surround sound the shoot out scene is amazing

As is the ending at airport. Last time I cranked this up, the neighbors called. Yes the windows were closed. No, we aren't in an apartment/condo/townhouse!
