Big Night 1996
A "small" film, very enjoyable. It's playing on Flix right now and it jogged my memory.

Staney Tucci, Tony Shaloub as brothers running an Italian restaurant.

A great movie that I actually saw at the theater thanks to my girl dragging me to it. I thoroughly enjoyed it and have not forgotten it. This movie is also probably king when it comes to making its audience hungry. Gorgeous food.

Interestingly I was just telling my wife about this specific scene last week. She had wondered why I would, on occasion say 'Maybe the people would-a like-a that.'

Such a nice movie, it put Shaloub and Tucci on the map for me. I had good thoughts about them in anything they did after "The Big Night" based on the good will they created for themselves in that movie.

Excellent movie, very underrated.

Shaloub and Tucci were outstanding in it. The timpano they made inspired me to give it an attempt a few years ago...good grief there's a lot that goest into making one. I'll have to give another shot some time this year.
