Thread has been quiet, too quiet..Surprised by the sudden appearance of a college classmate several days ago (after 37 years) brought back '80s thoughts.
She liked the second video, IIRC.

'86 was a good year;

One of my first cassette tapes I remember buying (maybe Purple Rain was the first). My great aunts Plymouth Valiant was passed down to me when I got my license in 1985? I installed a Kraco cassette deck and tried to wear this tape out.

This tune got quite a bit of airplay on a local station back when ('82).
One more from the lady (and friends) who started the thread.

Missing the 80's hair. My good friend and I would sing this while walking the halls of school.

An early '80s tune that sticks in my mind, but I often forget the name of the group.
ETA: I may have been aware of this years ago, but forgotten over time. A couple of guys in the Split Enz band later formed Crowded House. This is a remaster of their '86 single/video.

Fired up the DVD player last night and broke out the 007 collection. From "The Living Daylights", released in '87.
