'80s music
Speaking of Belinda Carlisle; did we ever start a thread regarding music from the '80s?

I remember that decade most for the hair. Big Grin And the music was good too.

Also when purpose-made videos like those came out.

Stumbled upon this one last week; hadn't seen the video or heard the song since...back when.

This is a 'one of' live performance from the late 80s on the Johnny Carson show
The late great Eddie Shaver is subbing for Pete Anderson in Dwight Yoakum's band. Eddie does a helluva job Cool

Expected a lot more action in this thread. Lots of great stuff from the 80s.

Not only did we have great tunes in the '80s, we had great parodies of great tunes!

And quite a few girl groups besides The Go-Gos.
Some wore leg warmers at times.

For me, the 1980s was all about college indie rock, a precursor to 90s alternative (I prefer college indie).
