He's been in lots of movies and TV shows, but I remember him best as the quiet rescue swimmer in "The Bridges at Toko-Ri."

The Hollywood Reporter notes Holliman won a best supporting actor Golden Globe for portraying Katharine Hepburn’s girl-crazy kid brother in The Rainmaker (1956) — seeing off Elvis Presley for the role — and then appeared in another Burt Lancaster film as Wyatt Earp’s assistant in Gunfight at the O.K. Corral (1957)...

BMRI thought he had died years ago. I liked him in Westerns and in "Police Woman." He had a good long run.

rat2306First role that I recall was that of the cook in "Forbidden Planet" that talked the robot into making lots of whiskey. A very long career.
